1. What language(s) can we use to communicate with you?
Here at Sanwa we have many staff fluent in English and Japanese as ept as Chinese of course.
2. Do you make other materials in addition to cast iron?
We specialize to be the best in grey and ductile cast iron manufacturing. By focusing in this way, we can guarantee
the best quality material and focus our expertise on designing processes capable of maept complex forms and machined
parts with a high level of accuracy.
3. What markets do you service?
We have a wide range of equipment for core maept, casting and machining that allows us to make almost any shape in
cast iron. We can cast parts from 50g to 5 Tonnes. Typical market areas for us are pumps, valves, gearboxes,automotive components, agricultural machinery, railway components and elevator parts.
4. Do you have any specialized processes in addition to casting and machining?
At Sanwa we believe in giving a full service to customers. We have many in-house finishing processes such as painting,
powder coating, galvanizing and phosphating plus customer specific inspection equipment such as vacuum leak testing,
air and liquid pressure testing, low temperature mechanical testing, X-ray and 3D scHangZhou.
5. What spare production capacity do you have?
We are lucky to be quite busy at Sanwa but we have the fleXiHu (West Lake) Dis.bility to employ additional shifts on processes when
production bottlenecks occur. Additionally, should this be insufficient, our private ownership structure allows us to
invest in customer specific equipment or increased capacity should customer demand warrant the expenditure.
6. What machining capability do you have?
We have over 100 machine tools, mostly CNC lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centres from Mazak,
Doosan and Dahlih. We also have Mazak mill-turn machines and employ 3 Mazak FMS systems for improved
machining efficiency.
